Forklift and MHE Training
Who needs a forklift / MHE training?
Anyone at work using Mechanical Handling Equipment has a requirement to be trained. All courses at K Training comply with the relevant Codes of Practice and current Health and Safety Regulations.
All the instructors are either ITSSAR or RTITB qualified and have first hand experience.
Successful candidates will be awarded a certificate and an individual photographic ID card. Also included is a detailed FLT operator handbook.
Training details
Training will consist of theory, using modern presentations on PowerPoint and practical on the actual equipment itself.
Training and testing will be carried out on the delegate’s site, thus allowing students to be familiar with their own specific equipment and the area in which they are to be operating.
Student trainer ratio policy and prices
To ensure a quality standard of training we have a candidate to trainer ratio where the maximum is 1 instructor to 1 machine to 3 candidates.
The table below shows the number of days according to students in line with our current practices based on 8 hour days. However courses can be tailored to customer needs. For example the 5 day course for basic/novice can be reduced to 4 days with each day extended to a 10 hour day.
The daily rate for instructors is £190 per day. Evening or night courses are available at a cost of £230.00 per evening/night.
All instructor fees have an additional cost of VAT; mileage and accommodation if needed.
