Certificate of Professional Competence

Who needs a CPC qualification?

The CPC is a qualification required by law for anyone wishing to operate passenger service vehicles.

To demonstrate professional competence, candidates must sit formal examinations with OCR and successfully complete a case study as part of the examination process to obtain a CPC qualification.

The Passenger Transport examinations are held four times a year.

Delegates must register with K Training at least four weeks before the examination date.

Delegates have a choice of opting for a number of combinations:

• A 7 day course to provide the delegate with a comprehensive book, sample exam questions and detailed personal instructions on its content.
• A 2 day revision option is carried out prior to the exams. This enables delegates to cover typical exam questions including mock exams and feedback.
• Home study pack with support.

This includes a comprehensive book for delegates to keep, sample exam questions and telephone support. It can include an initial half hour personal study introduction together with a session concentrating on exam questions.
